what is "too young to be married"?

and what marriage is "too hasty"?

my christian friends all seem to get/wanna get married between 18-22. all the parentals say "SO EARLY?!??! WHYYYYYY?" but let's take this into consideration. christian = no sex before marriage. ya get what i'm sayin'? also if they know they are gonna stay together then why not? i'm not gonna stop them. besides if it's what they wanna do right then and they are happy, sure...right...no?...yes.

buddy holly got married to a woman he'd met only a couple of days before. he got engaged to her the day they met. then on the saturday, they were united in holy matrimony in the comfort of his own home. he even wore shades like the badass he is (also, wtf is that banana peel doing on his wife's head?!??!?!):

"i do" or "i will"? "i will" sounds weird doesn't it? but then "i do" is like...yeah now you do...but what about later? plus when i get married, i will only wear the ring on my right hand (i hardly ever wear rings on my left hand cos it obstructs gee-tar playing).

and now for something completely different. a brief trip back into the past and a few hot men starred in ferris bueller's day off.

i just realised that matthew broderick looks seriously like a woman in the poster for the movie. i used to think that picture was really really really excruciatingly hot. now i am slightly weirded out. oh but fuck they are hot.

and to end, amelia on tom knight (the one she wants to marry): "tommy and i are gonna have heaps of fun on the road trip. i mean don't worry i won't be with him all the time. just knight time"
