pro: crastination

here's a pro: doing stuff well
here's a con: it takes a lot of effort

here's a pro: you pick up your instrument to practice
here's a con: the alarming pain in your wrist from rsi makes you procrastinate

here's a pro: you open up google and start researching
here's a con: you start distracting yourself...possibly with youtube or music hunting

here's a pro: you sit on the couch/bed to read
here's a con: you're exhausted from anemia, insomnia and watching the world cup...and pass out

story of my life.

however, i always get things done anyway cos i have a black belt in awesome. i make the impossible...POSSIMPLEBLE. (thank you barney stinson)

just as reliable as phillip lahm...ah yes.

i win

even without michael ballack (number 4 here), philipp lahm (number 1 here) led the german team to sweet victory 4-0. the soccerwhos remain stupid losers. oh well that's quite harsh, but really, the german team kicks ass.

4-0?!??! that's a ridiculous score for the world cup. miroslav klose, the amazing striker. thank god he doesn't play for poland (he is of polish descent). the australian team....oh man. and tim cahill got sent off with a red card. tsk tsk tsk. fail.
why the german team? they look absolutely hot in their matching adidas gear. love it love it love it. and pretty awesome colours too. black, white, red and yellow. manly, passionate and optimistic.
when the german team got eliminated last world cup, i cried. that's amazing cos i don't cry...ever. no really, i'm chuck norris. but this time round, i really think they would have a good chance of winning (like they always do aha). they deserve to win. they have the skill. they have the players. and all that's left to win the world cup, is a bit of luck.

well, i am too young, and they are too old: 5th edition

so i'll try to make this the last one...unless i get more suggestions...again.
in no particular order:

1. Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand) - 38
hot hot hot. and to think he used to be the bassist of the 1990's. still a good band but he deserves to be the front man.
2. Danny Goffey (Supergrass) - 36
i can not believe this guy is younger than alex kapranos. but he's alright
3. Nick McCarthy (Franz Ferdinand) - 35
there's always a mysterious factor about quiet guitarists...
4. Noel Fielding (comedian) - 37
this guy actually brags about being around celebrities. i wonder if he'll ever brag about being one himself?
Foreign Edition:
the hot men of foreign films. they make you melt when they appear on the screen. then when they start talking in...whatever it is that they speak...you turn to dust.

1. Gael Garcia Benal (actor) - 31
multi-lingual. played che guevara. enough said.
2. Ken Duken (actor) - 31
german. this guy is in a sick film called "whatever" but in german...he runs over someone at the start. and gets run over at the end. i used to be obsessed with germany. i still like the place a lot. and practice my german occasionally. but my obsession lies with sweden now.
3. Daniel Bruhl (actor) - 31
i blogged a few times ago about a film called The Edukators. this guy is in it. i hear he speaks like a million languages. when he is not busy being fat he is a fine one indeed.
4. Gaspard Ulliel (actor) - 25
this guy is a god. seriously so good looking it hurts. he has a scar from being attacked by a dog when he was a kid. but now it looks like a hot dimple.

5. Marc-Andre Grondin (actor) - 26
this guy looks exactly like the guy just above. and they both speak french. i watched this insane movie with him in it called C.R.A.Z.Y. i loved it cos it was set in the sixties. and i love the sixties. and i also thought he was the guy above...but i was pleased when i realised otherwise. cos that means there is another beautiful person in the world.

FIFA Fever!!!
the world cup is getting closer and closer...just one more addition to the hot footballer list

1. Alberto Gilardino - 27
italiano. you play that fiddle. my italian learning friends tell me that the most disgusting word they have learnt so far is cancro which means cancer. it's pretty random.
Honourable Mentions (but he's dead now/back in the day)

1. John William Baldry aka Long John Baldry (blues singer) - 64 when he died. he'd be 69 today
turned out to be gay. what a shame for us girls. but a delight for men. watch him get his mojo working with the beatles, the greatest band ever.
2. Jame Marcus Smith aka PJ Proby (total Elvis impersonator) - 71
nevertheless still a charmer...back in the day though.

well, i am too young, and they are too old: 3rd edition/ FIFA fever!!!

in the lead up to the world cup in south africa (only 46 days to go!!!), this post shall be about the hottest football players ever. in my opinion of course. some old, some young, all of them really really ridiculously good looking. in no particular order:

1. Philipp Lahm - 26
one of the most reliable players out there. never fails and is one of the only defenders that actually takes the ball all the way to the goal...and scores! he plays for bayern munich (best german club) and germany (my team)

2. Oleksander Shovkovskiy - 35
ukrainian goalkeeper. sure he's not the best in the world. but he is the best in ukraine. besides his looks make up for it.

3. Edwin Van Der Sar - 39
one of the best goalies in the world. there's something about this guy that makes you feel as if you can trust your life in him and you'd be completely safe. plays for manchester united (fuck them...they don't deserve him) and the netherlands (the orange team). i also found some hilarious ones of him, his pants have almost completely blown off...(the two extremely dramatic arnold schwarzenegger ones at the bottom...gotta love arnie)

4. Michael Ballack - 33
german playing for chelsea (alright...not as cool as arsenal but not as gay as liverpool and not as annoying as manchester united). the golden days for him were when he played for bayern munich (see above) and was really really rude. seriously...he challenged referees all the time and spat on people. but now he's cleaned up and captains the team. he is the reason why my favourite number is 13 (he only ever wears this number regardless of his team)

5. Andrea Pirlo - 30
plays for ac milan (last i checked anyway), the best club in the entire world...(well maybe not the best but definitely my favourite)... and always take the corners and tricky shots for italy. kicks a mean bended ball and has dead straight (and curved) accuracy. and nice hair

6. Kaka - 28
this guy is absolutely legendary. he is my favourite football player bar none. brazilian, used to play for ac milan (see above) but now plays for real madrid (spanish club). scarily religious but still sweet and married his childhood love. has a kid...possibly more than one?

7. Fernando Torres - 26
they call him el nino or the kid cos of his baby face. but now he himself has babies and a wife. damn it. spanish and plays for liverpool (see above). the golden days for him was when he scored a shitload at the last world cup, wore a mohawk and still played for atletico madrid (the most under-rated spanish club with a nice striped uniform)

8. Cesc Fabregas - 22
spanish and captains arsenal (see above). all in all he plays for all the teams that are the "new threats" of football. they have all the talented young players...that are getting older and more experience, which is he one of. recently he kicked a goal for arsenal in the champions league with a broken leg...and a bad knee. what a champion. stuff the arnie style photos...he IS arnie

well that's all about this for now....but there will be blood...i mean more... (it's a movie...go watch it...jonny greenwood, of radiohead and from the stuff of my dreams, did the music for it)
